Phil Voysey was born in Australia. Phil has qualifications in teaching in Education and English and has a Masters degrees in Journalism and Creative Writing. He has vast experience working with people from non-English speaking cultures. He has worked as a teacher in Zimbabwe, project manager of a home for street children in Peru and was the country representative for Save the Children Fund Australia in Bangladesh. Phil also has a long history teaching English language to overseas students and is a Spanish speaker. Phil has conducted cross cultural communication workshops for local government. He is a storyteller and songwriter who tells both personal yarns and traditional stories exploring cultural difference and cross cultural experiences. He is a certified storyteller who has performed his stories and songs to both children and adults in schools and festivals. Phil’s writing has been published in newspapers and publications both in Australia and overseas. His English language readers have also been recently published in Europe and Asia. Phil is a member of the Storytelling Guild of Australia and an accredited storyteller. |
